Hunter’s Ridge is located along SR 40, north of Daytona Beach and immediately west of Ormond Beach proper, and its 3,500+ acres straddle the border of Flagler and Volusia counties. Due to its size and its location in two municipalities, it is categorized as a development of regional impact (or a DRI). Development began in the 1990s and there are already several neighborhoods within Hunter’s Ridge though it is far from built out.
